Finding a Good Fit
Are you passionate about helping others? Do you love plants? Do you enjoy building relationships with customers and collaborating with team members? Growing Smiles Fundraising takes plants seriously. You’ll be the coordinator that provides excellent customer service every step of the way – from sign-up to delivery and distribution. We work as a team to meet sales targets and support our communities. Plant knowledge/experience not necessary.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
- Work in the office with your sales team
- Generate sales leads and call potential customers to set up their fundraising team.
- Answer incoming communications from customers (emails, calls, chat messages, etc.)
- Engage and motivate our customers to help coach them through our program
- Design emails, social media posts, and documents
What You Bring to the Role
- Positive attitude that enjoys helping where help is needed
- Critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- High school completion (college degree with business focus preferred but not necessary)
- 6 months+ of customer service and/or sales experience
- Strong communication skills to confidently interact with customers via phone and email
- Computer savvy - Experience with Microsoft Office (excel), Mail Chimp, and/or Zoho is beneficial
- A “run it like you own it” mentality
- Social media/desktop marketing experience
About Growing Smiles Fundraising and the Team
Our sales team grows and direct markets plants throughout North America to various non-profit groups. We are a family-based company that has been operating in the Fraser Valley for over 25 years.
You'll work within a team of 4 to 5 people, and report to a Team Lead. Together we manage customer accounts and orders, reach for seasonal sales goals, and plan/develop marketing materials. We provide all the tools you need to be confident in this customer-oriented role, and grow smiles too.
Start Date: Flexible
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8am – 5pm
- From mid-November to mid-December, there are opportunities to work additional hours and Saturdays if desired
Compensation:
- $19.00 + hour starting wage (based on schooling and experience)

- Performance Reviews twice a year
- Wage reviews annually
