Salon Receptionist / Guest Relations
SALON RECEPTIONIST / GUEST RELATIONS COORDINATOR
The Beige Label Salon is looking for Receptionist / Guest Services Support to be responsible for our salon’s day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include supporting staff, scheduling shifts, promoting our products and services through social media, keeping updated records of expenses and revenues, and special event planning. If you are familiar with elevated salon services and have excellent organizational abilities, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily salon operations
- Demonstrate and uphold the highest level of customer service for both stylists and clients
- Setup and manage systems for inventory, staff hours, and daily checklists
- Organize employees’ shifts, considering peak times and seasonality
- Order and manage inventory of retail and backbar products
- Apply sanitization practices throughout the salon
- Maintain staff records, including sales, services, and schedules
- Promote services, products and promotions on social media
- Receive payments from clients and track all transactions
- Keep updated records of costs and revenues (e.g. daily, monthly and quarterly)
- Plan, execute, and track salon promotions'
- Assist in monthly staff meeting to creative positive change for the salon
- Run staff/client reports including: sales, services, retention, frequency of visit
- Other administrative tasks delegated by the Owner
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years experience in a Customer Service role
- Diploma or degree in Communications / PR / Marketing / Business is considered a strong asset
- High level understanding of social media marketing and creating content
- Strong customer-service background
- High standard of professionalism
- Proven experience in generating and tracking sales
- Advanced organizational skills to manage staff, operations and salon finances
- General bookkeeping and business finance skills
- Excellent communication and team-leading skills
- Detailed knowledge of the hair salon industry and customer needs
- Interest and ability to continue learning about market standards and changes in trends
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
