What is the opportunity?
A Senior Analyst is responsible to ensure compliance with Trade and Transaction Reporting regulations across multiple asset classes, performs Key controls to ensure trade data is kept in sync across systems.
The role works closely with several areas of the firm including various businesses, compliance, legal and technology.
The role is part of the Regulatory Services team within Business and Client Services to perform regulatory reporting control reviews and control process that touch across all asset classes. Specific responsibility related to the control process for the Transaction / Regulatory Reporting function within Regulatory Services. Partner across BCS, IT and associated business functions representing BCS needs and requirements. The position requires a deep understanding of BCS business processes and controls and in particular definition of their needs around reporting obligations.

What will you do?
To ensure all daily tasks / controls are completed in line with the departmental PRIMA maps and procedures.
To continue to develop product / market knowledge to ensure daily processes are appropriate to reduce operational risks.
To escalate any unusual behaviour as well as any processing issues to the Team Manager or above in a timely manner following the Operations Escalation Policy.
To understand and know how to locate central RBC policies.
To ensure PRIMA maps and procedures are up to date and follow RBC Policies.
To investigate any processing issues and recommend a course of action to the Team Manager. Once approved,assist in the execution of the proposed change.
To support colleagues during busy periods by sharing workloads as applicable.
To provide best in class client services to both internal and external clients by ensuring their queries are responded to within agreed timeframes
To adhere to mandatory training requirements in Talentlink and take a proactive approach to suggesting appropriate additional training as required for the role
Responsible for ensuring all regulatory obligations are met by the required deadlines and ensure exceptions are followed through to resolution.
Responsible for completeness and accuracy of assigned regulatory reporting within the team
Responsible for ensuring key controls and tasks are completed on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
As a more experienced member of the team, assist colleagues with any day to day issues.
This role may have approval / 4 eye checking responsibility.
Great care and attention to detail is expected.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
MBA/University Degree and/or relevant professional training.
Minimum 3-5 years of operations experiences.
Good knowledge of Trade and Transaction reporting is preferred.
Good knowledge of MIFID, EMIR and SFTR Regulations would be preferred but not essential. The ability to perform analysis of business processes and implement change as appropriate. Must possess a high degree of PC literacy and experience.
Self-motivated and able to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Good communication skills both written and verbal (English) required due regional support structure.
Strong Excel skills and Python knowledge.
