Join the Vendor Risk Management Office of the Chief Financial Officer Team where we use financial foresight and legal insight to improve housing affordability.
In this new role, you will be contributing to support the vendor management framework and vendor diversity, conducting and reporting on vendor risk assessments, quality assurance, compliance, oversight and/or audit assignments within established time frames. The successful candidate will have seasoned knowledge working with data, performing analysis, integrating a wide variety of data sources and presenting actionable results to end users. You will be working closely with the procurement and vendor risk management teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting data in order to meet internal timelines for reporting and cross-functional objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in planning, conducting and reporting on vendor risk assessments, quality assurance, compliance, oversight and/or audit assignments using data analytics.
- Collect information, undertake analysis and identify vendor risks and/or non-compliance. Make recommendations and/or prepare action plans to manage risks and ensure compliance. Use dashboard PowerBI and other tools for efficient data analytics.
- Prepare reports for clients on ad hoc basics on summary findings and recommendations.
- Support the vendor management framework with reporting on key performance indicators, vendor risk, spend analysis, vendor segmentation and aggregate information for vendor criticality.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness and quality, swiftly documenting issues with data.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to aggregate large datasets for reporting and participate in database management.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field such as business, finance or economics.
- Minimum of three years' experience in procurement or risk-related roles.
- Advanced experience in PowerBi using dashboard or other data analytics tools.
- Sound judgment and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail, and capacity to summarize information based on the relevancy.
- Experience in vendor management.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance and Operations).
- Bilingualism (French and English).
