As an IAM Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security and access control. You will be responsible for managing identity and access management processes, ensuring compliance with security policies, and troubleshooting access-related issues. This position involves managing code deployment after work hours, pager duty and working closely with various teams to provide secure and efficient access to resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Identity and Access Management:

-Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts and access permissions as needed.
-Maintain and update role-based access control (RBAC) policies.
-Implement and enforce access control and authentication protocols.
Access Monitoring and Auditing:
style="margin-bottom:11.0px"-
-Regularly review and audit user access to systems and data to identify potential security risks.
-Investigate and respond to access-related security incidents.
Compliance and Policy Enforcement:
style="margin-bottom:11.0px"-
-Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices related to IAM.
-Enforce security policies and standards, and assist in policy development.
Troubleshooting and Support:
style="margin-bottom:11.0px"-
-Address user access issues and provide technical support.
-Collaborate with IT teams to resolve access-related problems.
System Administration:
style="margin-bottom:11.0px"-
-Configure and maintain IAM systems and related components.
-Implement new functions and updates to IAM infrastructure using the banks CICD pipeline.
Documentation:
style="margin-bottom:11.0px"-
-Maintain comprehensive documentation of access controls, policies, and procedures.
Collaboration and Training:
style="margin-bottom:11.0px"-
-Work closely with other IT teams to implement access controls in various systems.
-Provide training and guidance to end-users on IAM-related best practices.
Qualifications:
style="margin-bottom:11.0px"-
-Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
-Proven experience in IAM operations, access control, and security.
-Knowledge of IAM solutions and tools (e.g., Sailpoint IdentityIQ, Active Directory, LDAP, PAM).
-Familiarity with security standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:

-Industry certifications in IAM (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) would be an asset.
-Knowledge of scripting and automation for IAM tasks.
