Our employment opportunity of the moment: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Ottawa, Canada (Hybrid Mode*)

You have:

A University degree in Commerce or Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Working towards a CPA accounting designation is considered an asset. Proficiency in French and English (reading, writing and speaking) A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst within a computerized accounting environment using large scale financial systems, working with accounting processes and providing financial analysis and recommendations. An understanding of data control principles. An enhanced knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Advanced Excel skills.

You are interested in:

Preparing accurate financial statements, notes disclosures, and internal and external reporting. Preparing journal vouchers, supporting documentation, and complex analyses Planning short and long-term cash flow and reviewing investments. Liaising with financial institutions to investigate payment issues. Supporting the credit card program. Supporting business process enhancements. Joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion, and equity.

For more details on the primary duties and responsibilities, view Job Details. *Hybrid Mode: Have the flexibility to work in hybrid mode (Minimum 3 days out of 10 in the office).
