Job Description
The Canada Financial Reporting, Planning and Analysis team is an energetic team of Finance professionals who partner with other finance teams across the Company to deliver meaningful financial reporting and lead segment-wide finance initiatives that move our business forward. Reporting to the AVP, Canada Reporting & Analysis, the Senior Financial Analyst, Canada Reporting & Analysis will provide key finance services, which includes delivering accurate, timely, and relevant reporting and analysis to support senior management decision making. The incumbent is a Finance professional who is a self-starter and analytically inclined and is skilled at building and drawing from a network of partners to ensure high-quality financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- The SeniorFinancial Analyst, Divisional Reporting & Analysis will be focused on the following key activities:
- Support financial reporting deliverables for the division by preparing reports to ensure relevant, accurate and timely reporting, including the preparation of quarterly internal management packages for the Segment, as well as reviewing monthly sales reports.
- Contribute to other recurring and adhoc activities, such as coordination of key performance indicator reporting, segment presentations for senior management and board of directors and assisting with annual goodwill testing.
- Support divisional oversight providing quality assurance activities.
- Act as an advisor to other shared service teams and functional areas, helping to implement best-practices and provide financial reporting support.
- Initiate ongoing improvements by exploring, identifying, and implementing reporting, analysis, and process solutions.
- This role will work closely with other teams within the Segment and across the Company.
- Support updates to financial reporting datamarts and tools.

- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA; CPA, CMA; or CPA,CGA), or working towards
- Three+ years of experience in a finance role; experience in financial services industry preferred
- Strong communication and writing skills. Ability to succinctly engage with team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving and project management skills;
- Proactive approach to continuous improvements and a positive, 'can-do' attitude
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-performing, and collaborative team environment while managing multiple, constantly changing priorities and ad-hoc requests
- Excellent PC skills particularly with MS Office applications; and
- Knowledge of Essbase/SmartView, Lawson, is an asset.

Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
CAN, Ontario, Toronto, 200 Bloor Street East
Salary range is expected to be between
$70,350.00 CAD - $117,250.00 CAD
