What You'll Do

  • Engage with business stakeholders to develop partnerships and gain buy-in for strategic offboarding initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the business to define a robust client offboarding operating model, ensuring the timely exit of risky or non-strategic clients approved by the business.
  • Drive successful execution and completion of client offboards in a controlled and timely manner across GBM Canada.
  • Provide accurate and complete management information on the status, risks, and issues within the offboarding process, escalating any control weaknesses.
  • Support relevant remediation initiatives and take responsibility for the offboarding initiatives, including planning, tracking, execution, and the development of robust processes, training materials, and procedure documents.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to resolve offboarding and remediation challenges, technology challenges, data challenges, and other ancillary projects as required.
  • Lead the day-to-day offboarding execution team, ensuring alignment with the bank's risk culture and relevant risk appetite statements and limits.
  • Foster a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates the team by fostering inclusivity, communicating vision/values/business strategy, and managing various program deliverables.

What You'll Bring

  • Ability to work with large quantities of Credit Authorization/1035 documents received via email
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify effective process improvements and more robust operational controls where applicable
  • Prior experience in a counterparty set-up / support role would be an asset
  • Sound PC skills are required to communicate and operate within an automated, technology based work environment. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) use

Work Arrangement: This position is currently a Hybrid role. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
