The Team

Global Technology Enterprise Platforms (GTEP) is a key technology division of Scotiabank, providing critical infrastructure solutions and support to the bank globally and employing approximately 2000 full-time employees and contractors, across 15 countries. The IT Service Management (ITSM) department is the centre of excellence responsible for Process, Governance, and operations of key ITSM practices globally.

The Role

The successful candidate will be accountable for defining, leading, managing and consistently improving the communications, training, and organizational change management capabilities for the ITSM department. This role will work in partnership with ITSM Process Owners, Process Managers, and other functions across the IT&S organization.

Some of the Key Accountabilities include:

• Establish and manage a communications, training, and organizational change management strategy for the department
• Equip stakeholders with the knowledge, skills and tools to prepare them for change
• Ensure business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed and delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
• Identify communication needs/enhancements, and develop appropriate communication strategies and plans, to foster a broader understanding of initiatives and programs in the ITSM domain.
• Create holistic change management and communication plans for key initiatives.
• Manage channel engagement, including the timelines, quality and quantity of communication.

• You have significant experience establishing, coordinating, and executing large-scale communications, training, and organizational change strategies
• You are able to lead large and small groups through complicated topics with plain language
• You work well with all levels of the organization and can tailor messaging and approach accordingly
• You have experience and presence presenting to executive stakeholders and large groups
• You inspire leadership through your actions and bring a customer-centric focus to the work that you do
