The Senior Manager, Data Lead implements data governance and data management in Global Banking and Markets reference data domain in alignment with the data policy and standards, and business priorities. In particular, the Senior Manager will be responsible for:        
-Collaborating with business and technology partners to implement data products for GBM reference data that add value to the business.
-Supporting and contributing to the cloud acceleration program.
-Supporting and ensuring Domain adherence to Data Management Policies.
-Acting as a Data Subject Matter Expert for the domain, directly contributing to the development of data products.
-Supporting the Data Modelers to extend the Common Data Model.
-Providing advisory services to initiatives that require GBM business lines data.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: 
-Champions Data Office products and services, to increase adoption, bringing value to the business, and gather feedback to improve the products and services.
-Leads the establishment of data governance structures and works closely with Data Stewards, Data Custodians
-Other key roles to champion the adoption of a data culture
-Performs Review and Challenge Function for data initiatives and data domains implementation of data management activities to ensure compliance with Policy
-Keeps abreast with changes in data products, business processes, and technology processes related to the domain.  
-Contribute to keeping the definitions and metadata up to date.
-Contributes to the creation of KPI/KRIs in the assigned business area, in relation to data governance and management effectiveness.
    
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?  We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:
-Extensive experience with reference data pertaining to Capital Markets and Corporate Investment Banking.
-Post-secondary education:  University degree or equivalent experience
-This role requires a Mastery/Subject Matter Expertise of data governance leading practices including Data Management policy and standards
-Understanding of organizational design and the ability to shape and drive large-scale, cross-functional programs around people, technology, processes, and tools
-Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
-Ability to work independently and solve complex problems through a collaborative style
-Ability to increase operating efficiency and produce high quality technical solutions
-A high level of interpersonal and presentation skills at all levels including the Executive Management Level.
