What is the opportunity?
The Senior Manager, Digital Messaging will drive efficiency and transform RBC’s email channel through automation while leading a team of subject matter experts.
What will you do?
Leading a team of subject matter experts in the end-to-end deployment of email campaigns on behalf of a variety of RBC businesses.
Identifying opportunities to deliver operational efficiencies in channel processes reducing time-to-market by streamlining manual processes using SalesForce Marketing Cloud platform technology.
Championing the creation and execution of the email innovation roadmap by piloting new capabilities (e.g. predictive intelligence, interactive email features) while methodically proving out ROI and Next Best Offer program end-to-end campaign execution processes.
Drive channel efficiency and sustained execution excellence
Automate processes, drive creative optimization and help lead the innovation strategy
Redefine channel reporting processes through standardization
and automation to enable dashboards
Collaborate with internal partners
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
5+ years of experience in an email-specific role
Minimum 3 years’ experience in SalesForce Marketing Cloud (formerly ExactTarget)
Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification
Excellent knowledge of email campaign performance metrics and best practices
Extensive knowledge of email privacy laws, CASL and CAN-SPAM
Strong leadership, communication, and project management
Knowledge of computer graphics packages such as Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
Nice to have:
Experienced working in a matrix organization an asset
