The Sr. Manager, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) will oversee the finance Operations and Governance of FTP execution within Global Finance. They will also play a key role in the continuous development and improvement of the matched maturity funds transfer pricing system and processes within the Bank. The Sr. Manager will maintain a diversified list of responsibilities within the FTP team, including oversight of two resources. The Sr. Manager is expected to manage the day to day operations of the FTP execution team, maintaining Policy and documentation, processing complex manual FTP adjustments, implementing methodology changes, and support the analytical needs of business line users, as well as ad hoc requirements from management. The Sr. Manager will also assume responsibilities to continuously identify methodology and operational alignment issues between the broader Balance Sheet Management team within Group Treasury.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

-Implement / automate MMFTP methodologies in the monthly production cycle. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in production, and appropriate operational controls are in place;
-Ensure business line reporting on a matched maturity basis within EGL / OBI is complete and accurate. Assist Business Line Finance units with research and analysis to understand matched maturity business line results.
-Maintain the FTP Policy and other relevant methodology/process documents to ensure they are up-to-date and reflect the FTP methodology accurately;
-Manage the development and continuous improvement of Margin Reporting and Analysis to enable margin analysis at any level of the organization or product. This includes development of new reports to facilitate margin analysis at the product and business unit level;
-Continuous analysis and forecasting of the Mismatch Centre will be another key focus of the position;
-Represent the FTP team in coordination with other Balance Sheet Management teams relating to data analysis, data reconciliation, data infrastructure and system architecture;
-Manage multiple projects/initiatives on an ongoing basis that relate specifically to FTP as well as broader interest profit opportunities
-Manage and mentor direct reports, and foster a collaborative team culture that encourages the development of staff to their full potential
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
-University level Business/Finance Degree preferable
-Minimum 5 years experience in a Financial Institution
-Excellent knowledge of the Bank's product offerings
-Strong understanding of financial and management accounting principles, including a working knowledge of funds transfer pricing concepts, methodologies and objectives;
-Understanding of Asset Liability Management and Liquidity concepts;
-Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, that enables for providing proactive comments and recommendations;
-Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple initiatives with varying degrees of urgency and differing deadlines;
-Dynamic leadership abilities to either lead initiatives or work as a collaborative group. Expectation is the candidate is self-motivated to identify new opportunities and open to frequent shifting priorities;
-Strong communication skills (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish and form solid relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including peers, customer/product areas, divisional comptrollers, Executives and external consultants;
-Strong computer literacy and data management skills
