Job Summary
As the Senior Manager of Internal Mobility, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to optimize talent movement within our organization. Opportunity to design and manage internal development programs that attract, develop, and retain strong and diverse talent within an Equinix. The design and execution of internal opportunities brings to life continuous development. You will collaborate with Integrated Talent Solutions team, GLOMO & Immigration team, Human Resource Partners, Community & Belonging Partners, and Business Leaders to create impactful programs that enable the professional growth and development of our employees through applied learning opportunities.
Responsibilities
You’ll maintain an understanding of business (internal customer) talent needs, develop the strategy, design, and execution of Internal Mobility solutions to meet those needs. This includes things like upskilling initiatives, internal marketplace, rotations, etc., all designed to ensure the ongoing growth and success of Equinix employees. This will require the leader to develop principles that leadership can align around, ensure that process/guidelines are documented, and the development/execution of programs (internal marketplace, rotational programs, etc.).
The role requires a person with Exceptional systems thinking to integrate work across functional areas
Change leadership skills to drive awareness, gain buy-in while anticipating/addressing concerns
Heavy influence skills to adopt new mindsets
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Heavy cross-Functional Collaboration and partnership with key stakeholders across the enterprise development opportunities
Qualifications
Experience leading rotational programs, developing or implementing Internal Market Place
Experience partnering with Talent Management to deliver on skills and capability learning solutions that complement Internal Mobility
Experience partnering with Immigration and Mobility partners to enable cross boarder opportunities
Bachelor's degree required in related area (e.g., leadership, human resources, organization behavior)
Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred
7+ years related experience, 3+ years’ experience in leadership role
Experience driving talent efforts through a global and physically distributed workforce
