Job Summary
As the Sr. Sustainability Manager, Program Delivery, you will be a subject matter expert and responsible for building and executing joint sustainability plans across the organization. You along with the rest of the sustainability team will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, clients and suppliers to drive sustainability improvements, and management of sustainability goals and initiatives. This role will be the Compass Canada lead for one of our most important sustainability initiatives, to implement a technology solution for measuring and reducing food waste, to achieve our goal of 50% food waste reduction by 2030.
Now, if you were to come on board as our Senior Manager, Sustainability Program Delivery, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
-Proactively engage with clients to advocate and promote our Sustainability Programs, emphasizing the benefits and positive impact on both their business and the environment
-Demonstrate the value of participation in sustainability initiatives, both internally and externally
-Develop and implement training programs that assist the field with implementing Sustainability Programs
-Manage day to day operations and deployments of Sustainability Programs to various sectors.
-Maintain relationships and expand our programs by improving engagement processes at the unit level including reporting, data visibility, compliance etc.
-Lead and train sustainability champions across Canada to provide a network of on the ground support to our clients and operation teams
-Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally to educate and share best practices on Food Waste reduction initiatives.
-Engage directly, in person, with unit leaders on program compliance through a field friendly, collaborative approach.
-Deliver updates to leadership on challenges and successes

-5+ years of relevant work experience, Project Management or Operations experience preferred
-Proven experience in a customer success, account management, or customer support role
-Experience and knowledge of food service and hospitality operations
-A desire to drive change and make an impact
-Highly organized, results oriented with a proven ability to execute on projects with analytical/strategic thinking skills
-Ability to communicate with all levels in an organization including senior leaders
-Influence without authority with the ability to manage up and across the organization
-Self-starter, proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
-Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
-Bilingual is a plus
