We are seeking a Senior Product Manager on the Commerce, Communications and Personalization Product Team here at Scotiabank. This role will help develop and implement new capabilities, channels and platforms that empower internal teams to communicate with their clients in the moments that matter most.

Leveraging an understanding of data utilization, event triggers, content management and orchestration as well as emerging communication experience trends and technologies, you will work with stakeholders across our global banking organization, developing and executing on a compelling product vision, strategy, and roadmap to achieve key business objectives.

• Creating measurable, repeatable value for internal and external customers.
• Building scalable software solutions that are leveraged by global teams.
• Building products that enable transactional, advisory, and marketing communications to be contextually shared with customers based on real-time triggers, events, or customer behaviours.
• Identifying and partnering with 3rd party vendors to deliver best-of-breed capabilities within your product stack.
• Creating, communicating, and gaining buy-in for your product vision and feature roadmap.
• Collaborating and building strong relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including engineering, analytics, marketing, UX/UI, business partners and other product teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Driving short and long-term product strategies, and goals, and scaling new capabilities across different geographies and markets.
• Continuously interpreting customer needs and business pain points to determine the biggest problems to solve.
• Making data-informed decisions & conducting hypothesis-driven product development.
• Pursuing effective and efficient operations of your respective area in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

• 5+ years of experience in a role building customer-facing digital products and strategies in the communications domain. Financial, commerce or marketplace product commerce experience would be a plus.
• A proven knowledge and experience in data, microservices, events and communication technology and trends.
• Experience working in or with cross functional teams such as Engineering, Design, and Accessibility teams.
• Demonstrable experience in platform product management, delivery, and enhancement.
• A proven knowledge of the digital banking ecosystem and a strong appreciation for the modernization efforts currently underway in Canada.
• Experience in managing senior and executive stakeholders and the ability to drive collaboration across an enterprise.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to influence and inspire a cross-functional team to reach ambitious goals.
• Highly developed verbal, written and storytelling skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels in the organization.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (preferably scrum).
