About the role:
Reporting to the VP of Product Development you will plan, build, configure and troubleshoot Agility PR's internal IT systems in a mix of a traditional and hybrid cloud environment. These systems include Zoom, Active Directory, Windows Server, Cisco network, and FortiGate firewall.
You will be responsible for improvement projects and contribute to shaping the IT landscape of Agility PR Solutions.
You will supervise and actively participate in the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing and networking needs, ensure our staff (in Canada, the US, and overseas) are adequately supported via the internal helpdesk, be involved in shaping, and implementing the IT policies, managing procurement and asset lifecycle.
The successful candidate will have proven skills, professional experience, and a detailed knowledge of industry best practices.
What you’ll be doing:
- Hands-on with local network and cloud infrastructure network planning.
- Oversee information technology and computer systems.
- Provide direction and mentoring to more junior members of the IT team.
- Help design, develop, and implement systems, policies and procedures.
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
- Participate in budget planning and help manage software and hardware assets.
What we need you to bring:
- 5+ years proven working experience as a Senior Systems Administrator or relevant experience
- CCNA or CCNP certification
- Excellent knowledge of information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems, such as Dell laptops and servers, FortiGate firewalls, Cisco switches and Office365
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, switch and firewall administration and troubleshooting
- Strong team player, ready to create, share, fail, learn and repeat
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization (and parent company) with professionalism, clarity, respect and good humor
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Computer Science or similar discipline)
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- CISM, CISSP or CEH certification
- Experience with Azure AD and AWS infrastructure management.
- Experience mentoring or leading a team
