Job Description:
We are currently seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Part-Time Restaurant Server / Banquet Bartender to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and seating guests in a prompt and professional manner.
- Taking and serving food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Providing detailed information about our menu, including daily specials and making recommendations.
- Verifying that all food and beverages meet Tonic’s quality standards before serving to guests.
- Responding to guest inquiries, addressing concerns and providing solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Processing cash and card payments accurately.
- Assisting in the setup, restocking, and cleaning of dining areas before, during, and after service hours.
- Complying with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Cooperating and communicating with all team members to provide exceptional guest experiences.
- Read and execute the specifications listed on the Banquet Event Order.
- Attend all pre-shift meetings to ensure events flow smoothly.
- Be in communication with the Banquet Captain regarding any special needs.
- Prepar coffee breaks, carts and stations with appropriate food and beverage as stated in the Banquet Event Order.
- Mix liquor, soft drinks, water and other ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
- Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages for the guests.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
