Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take orders from customers and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere
- Restock bar supplies and inventory as needed
- Collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender/server or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Strong serving/bartending skills, including knowledge of various drink recipes and mixing techniques
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Must be at least 19 years old to serve alcohol
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (e.g., kegs)
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations in the food industry
