The impact you will have
As the Service Team Supervisor, you will operate from a service center, managing and supporting the delivery, pickup, and cleaning of medical rental equipment for hospitals and long-term care facilities in the greater Moncton area. Your duties include assigning daily tasks, monitoring service center metrics, and reporting them to the Regional Service Manager. Additionally, you will oversee compliance activities such as self-inspections, infection control, and quality control/preventive maintenance inspections (QC/PMI).
As the Service Team Supervisor you will be responsible for:
- Monitors delivery, setup, pick-up, and servicing of rental products to ensure efficiency.
- Manages work assignments and processes to optimize product, manpower, vehicle, and equipment usage for superior customer service.
- Oversees critical care medical equipment placements and may conduct technical in-service sessions for medical staff, including assisting in patient transfers.
- Serves as the primary contact for IT-related inquiries and collaborates with the IT department to address service center issues.
- Maintains inventory of products and provides in-service training as necessary on products and new procedures.
- Ensures compliance with Corporate/Provincial/Federal regulations for vehicles and the service center.
- Available for after-hours "on call" duty to ensure continuous coverage meeting customer demands.
- Assists in training new employees and onboarding processes.
- Contributes to investigating and correcting audit deficiencies.
The skills you will need
- Requires 3 years of experience with supervisory/lead responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; technical or undergraduate degree is preferred.
- Proficient in supervising employees, managing change, and handling multiple priorities effectively.
- Capable of maintaining positive relationships with employees and business contacts, demonstrating a service-oriented attitude.
- Skilled in recommending/selling products and services based on client needs, with computer literacy in Microsoft Windows, Office applications, and information technology concepts.
