Our client, in the Commercial Laundry industry is seeking a talented and motivated Shipper/Receiver with Forklift and Clamp truck background/licenses reporting to Warehouse Manager.

They offer a complete line of vended and non-vended laundry equipment and multi-load washer/extractors and tumblers. Additionally, our client pride themselves on an extensive parts inventory and stocks, and qualified service teams who keep your laundry operations in top running order.
Shipping/Receiving Job Details:
A shipping/receiving warehouse associate is responsible for incoming and outgoing packages in a warehouse. Job duties include tracking inventory, keeping accurate records, packaging, and weighing items, moving products in packages through forklift and clamp trucks, inspecting goods received for damage, and distributing products to other departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of contents and comparing to purchase orders.
- Unload and load trucks using forklifts and clamp trucks.
- Database management, data recording
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation, and labeling.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse management system to track inventory movements and update records.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently, meeting productivity targets.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to legally work in Canada with a valid work permit (if applicable)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Canadian driver’s license with clean driving history is preferred.
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Clamp Truck experience is preferred.
- Proficient in inventory control software/platforms and database management applications
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating reach trucks or other material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
