SalaryIZA Design and Manufacturing is a designer and builder of specialty racking for the automotive industry, with 3 plants in Kingsville, 2 in the USA and 2 in Mexico. We are a growing company and are looking to add to our team. This position requires a lot of outdoor forklift work.
QUALIFICATIONS OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES:
- Able to use measuring tape and read measurements accurately up to 16th of an inch.
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to maneuver large bundles of steel and other materials with forklift in tight spaces
- Position requires sitting, standing, walking and bending indoors and outdoors
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs if/when needed (overhead hoists available for heavy lifts and forklift places steel bundles on saw intake conveyor rollers)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Receive incoming shipments in a timely fashion and properly label and organize material
- Able to count number of pieces for orders and document on order sheets
- Inspect shipments and final product for quality and counts
- Operate forklift to unload and load trucks of raw steel and other materials
- Operate forklift to transport material to proper locations in yard and shop
- Report to work in metal fab shop environment on time and as scheduled
- Other duties as required
