Your mission:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk position duties will include various tasks within the receiving department.

The ideal candidate will have either production experience in a fast pace environment, able to communicate and read in English.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday (9:00 am to 5:30 pm) but may be subject to change depending on operational and business needs, potentially requiring employees to work weekends and holidays as well.

You may need to work different hours in the beginning for training purposes.

Principal Duties: The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following tasks:

• Perform receiving functions upon daily deliveries from multiple suppliers
• Prepare orders for the different departments
• Keeping count on all the different supplies
• Follow up what is needed to order for inventory
• Cleaning up the storage area
• In order to keep everything organized in storage area
• Unloading products from trucks and in a safe way also
• Preparation and managing lens kit samples

Your profile:

• Computer proficiency, including the ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously
• The ability to handle multiple requests effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Solid problem-solving skills
• The ability to follow directions
• A track record demonstrating responsibility and reliability
• Will have to ability to lift up to 25 kg
• Will be organized and will have manual dexterity
• A high school diploma is preferred

Work location: Ottawa, ON

Hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (Full-time / temporary)

Salary: $17.00
