Form of workAdecco is actively seeking a self-motivated and full-time Shipping/Receiving Clerkto join our client's team in Ajax, ON.
The main responsibilities of the Shipping/Receiving Clerkwill be to receive supplier shipments, enter receipt details into SAP, and organize parts accordingly. Load/unload trucks, package outbound shipments, and inspect products for conformity.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid forklift license, have expertise in military packaging, and possess 3-5 years of experience as a receiver/shipper in the aerospace or related manufacturing sector, along with specialized knowledge in the field.

Shifts: Monday – Thursday : 7:30am – 4:00pm | Friday : 7:30 – 12:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive on-dock supplier shipments.
Enter receipts onto SAP including serial numbers and batch numbers as required and forward parts and paperwork accordingly.
Load/unload Trucks bull Package and process outbound shipments to customers in a time sensitive environment bull Inspect all product to ensure parts conform to paperwork and travellers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
Lifting and slinging experience must be able to lift 50lbs regularly ability to use hand and machine tools excellent computer problem-solving skills self-motivated able to multi-task work with minimal supervision.
Valid Forklift license
Military Packaging knowledge
Dangerous Goods Packaging Certificate would be an asset
3-5 yrs of Receiver/Shipper experience in an aerospace or related manufacturing environment Specialized Knowledge:
Understanding of US/Canada customs regulations a desired asset Knowledge/understanding of SAP receiving/shipping system an asset.
Proven problem solving skills and experience/exposure to lean manufacturing.
Ability to use hand and machine tools.
Self-motivated.
Able to work with little or no supervision.
The ability to work shifts when required.
Proven ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal a must
