Shop Hand/Administrator

Boundary Electric is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our Trail team as a Shop Hand/Administrator!

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our shop, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and contributing to the manufacturing of equipment.

Key functions:

• Administrative:

o Assist with general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and record keeping.

o Vehicle/Equipment inspections and reports.

o Tracking materials.

o Handle phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.

• Shop Support:

o Assist in maintaining a clean and organized shop environment.

o Help with inventory management and restocking supplies.

o Assist in ordering materials and associated paperwork.

o Shipping/Receiving duties including packaging equipment for transport.

• Customer Service:

o Provide excellent customer service to clients visiting the shop and calling for service.

o Assist in addressing customer inquiries and concerns.

• Other:

o Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Special Requirements:

· Previous experience in an administrative or shop support role is preferred.

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Education, Skills, and Attributes:

· Basic computer skills and familiarity with office software.

· Mechanical aptitude.

· Previous tool use and familiarization.

· Able to manage shifting priorities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
