REPORT TO: Area Manager

Position Description

We currently have an exciting role for a results oriented and employee focused Site Manager to oversee the operations of our Calahoo location and be the lead for future growth projects in the surrounding area.

Position Responsibilities

• Manage projects in the Calahoo area.
• Prepare documentation as required for project implementation.
• Be accountable for the budgeting and fiscal reporting of the area and monitor the budget as required.
• Oversee and aid the Calahoo operations to ensure operational excellence by managing and coaching management and employees to achieve optimal efficiency.
• Ensure Company policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Complete required documentation relating to Safety – training, statistics tracking, incident reporting, incident investigations and safety meetings
• Ensure company policies, procedures and protocols are followed.
• Manage escalated customer concerns to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Comply with all regulations required by the Company and government regulations.
• Work with the sales team to generate new business.
• Travel as required (between 25% - 50%).
• Additional duties may be required

Qualifications

• 5 - 7 years Operational Management experience.
• 3+ years experience managing multiple locations
• Flexibility and willingness to work simultaneously on a wide range of tasks and projects.
• Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients.
• Experience in the transportation or waste industry is considered an asset.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Proven ability to work independently while being a team player.
