Description
Responsibilities:
-Provide construction management of projects during the construction season:
o Provide required supervisory support for Contracted and Orano employees assigned to major Site Services Projects
o Ensure compliance with all safety requirements
o Provide all necessary follow-up on project schedule, budget, procurement issues, contractor management documents, quantities tracking, QA/QC plans, and coordination with onsite departments and other contractors/consultants working in the area
-Construction Logisitics:
o Resource requirements
o Site support needs (identify and coordinate)
o Lift plans/rigging plans
o Access requirements (scaffold/AWP etc)
-Management of contractors at site:
o Participate in assigned daily tool box talks
o Participate in incident investigations
o Maintain and provide a Daily Log of all field activities
-Support the Site Services team during closing phases of the construction project including the record of construction reports, contract closeout, lessons learned session and reports, regulatory notifications, turnover package, and filing of project documentation including closeout documentation
Skills and Qualifications:
-A qualified industrial tradesman with an inter-provincial ticket or post-secondary education (degree, diploma, or certificate) is preferred
-8+ years of project/construction management experience is required
-Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience
-Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SAP experience is an asset
-Experience in a supervisory role and demonstrated ability to work in team environment
Work Location & Schedule:
-McClean Lake
-14 day in/14 day out rotating schedule
-Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required
-Temporary position from May to July 2023 (may be extended based on schedule and needs)
