Job Summary


We are seeking a Social Media Designer | Contractor who is creative and engaging and can produce high-quality, original content for our products. The successful candidate will collaborate, create, and edit various Social Media content templates using Canva while staying up to date with current trends to captivate and engage our audience.


As a Contracted Worker, you will play a crucial role in our organization, providing expertise and contributing to our projects. Unlike our internal employees, Contracted Workers will have full flexibility in their work hours as long as they meet the deadlines for their assigned tasks. They will also have the freedom to work from anywhere in the world, making this an ideal opportunity for those who value remote work.


The Social Media Designer | Contractor position requires a minimum of 15-30 hrs of availability per week; however, the work hours may vary depending on the workflow. We pay a flat rate per project. This means the quicker and more accurate your work, the more money you make!


Responsibilities


This position will be under the supervision of the Manager of Visual Design & Art Direction on a day-to-day basis.


  • Creating compelling visuals of various styles for Social Media using Canva while adhering to the brief requirements and Art Direction guidelines
  • Take direction/feedback from the Art Director, Associate Art Director, and internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to comprehend, visualize and articulate creative ideas to the team and the stakeholders
  • Adhere to current & traditional Social Media trends, techniques and styles and stay committed to continuously improving their skills and abilities
  • Provide quality assurance on creative deliverables
  • Delivering projects on time while still applying and implementing in-house best practices.

Required Experience & Skills


Must-Have:

  • Strong creativity and a passion for creating Social Media visuals
  • 2+ years of proven experience as a Social Media design & Content Creator with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of visuals and templates
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work well under deadlines
  • Be a quick learner, handle multiple projects, and jump from project to project while maintaining professional service and quality
  • Work in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment that requires handling numerous projects simultaneously and consistent and concise communication.
  • Always willing to showcase high integrity and be responsive to constructive feedback
