Crust & Crate Fast Fired Pizza Pub is the new kid on the block. Built on the same values that have made the Gabriel Pizza brand a success, Crust & Crate takes pizza in a different direction with a focus on Al Forno style pizzas and gastropub fare in a modern, cocktail inspired, wine infused, craft beer loving environment.

Position Overview:

As a Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our Social Media strategy. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, fostering meaningful interactions, and keeping our brand at the forefront of Social Media trends. While working with Gabe’s and Crust & Crust, you will also get the opportunity collaborate with some of Ottawa’s premier brands and sports franchises - the Ottawa Senators, Ottawa REDBLACKS, Ottawa 67’s, Ottawa Blackjacks, Ottawa Titans, The Ottawa Hospital, CHEO and various festivals.

Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Strategy:

  • Develop a comprehensive Social Media strategy aligned with the brands goals.
  • Identify target audiences, select appropriate Social Media platforms, and outline content themes and objectives.

2. Content Creation:

  • Create compelling content for various Social Media platforms, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia formats.
  • Understand the target audience and craft content that resonates and encourages sharing.

3. Content Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop content calendars and schedules for consistent and timely posting.
  • Plan content for events, product launches, or campaigns and use Social Media management tools for scheduling and automation.

4. Content Curation:

  • Curate and share relevant content from external sources that align with our brand's values and interests.
  • Actively seek out valuable resources and news to provide additional value to our audience.

5. Community Management:

  • Actively engage with our audience, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive interactions on Social Media platforms.
  • Monitor conversations, address inquiries, and manage issues or complaints professionally and promptly.

6. Performance Analysis:

  • Track and analyze key metrics such as engagement, reach, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Use Social Media analytics tools to gain insights and optimize content and strategies for improved results.

7. Stay Updated on Social Media Trends:

  • Stay informed about the latest Social Media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies.
  • Experiment with different content formats and incorporate relevant trends into strategies to keep our Social Media presence fresh and engaging.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary schooling in Scoial Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Social Media management, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
  • Strong photography and video skillset with a knowledge of post-production tools and the ability to produce content ready for Social Media
  • Proficiency in Social Media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Valid drivers licence and the ability to travel to various locations and events in the Ottawa area
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with Social Media trends and emerging technologies.
