What You Will Be Doing:
- Build on and execute the company’s organic social media content strategy by growing our audience, increasing engagement and driving conversions and clicks
- Create a robust social content calendar through content planning and real-time customer engagement
- Create, edit, publish and share content to attract and engage the community’s social community across all corporate platforms ie: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok and Pinterest
- Collaborate with internal departments to create buzz and excitement around new products, partnerships, employment opportunity/employer branding and other corporate messaging
- Monitor all mentions and DMs to ensure they meet the company’s branding and professional image and direct/escalate inquiries as appropriate
- Protect the company’s brand and keep a consistent pulse on relevant Canadian automotive & RV news and trending topics
- Provide insights for the organization based on social listening, market trends and platform innovations
- Utilize analytical ability to evaluate customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
- Write and generate engaging and thought-provoking content as required
What You Bring to the Table:
- Successful completion of post-secondary education in communications, digital marketing, or public relations
- 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, content marketing and communications
- Direct experience growing a following on social media on behalf of a growing, mid-size, start-up and professional brand
- Previous experience in marketing and developing social content for an automotive company is considered an asset
- Technically savvy and knowledgeable in social media platforms as outlined above and how to optimize each platforms use
- Strong understanding of social analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite and Webtrends Analytics
- Strong understanding of social media metrics and the ability to convey them to internal partners
- Working knowledge of graphic design tools ie: Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva
- Proven ability to be highly innovative, and effective in creating visually appealing content
- Exceptionally strong communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal
- An entrepreneurial spirit and creative mindset
- Valid G Driver's License and acceptable driving record
