Job description

Before you apply!
Softchoice prides itself on the development of its employees. It is our goal to ensure that this process is open, positive, and supports your career development plan. To move forward in the process, your direct manager will need to complete a brief survey to ensure that this role is aligned with your short and long‐term career aspirations. Please speak with your manager before you apply so they know which position you are applying to and can endorse you appropriately.

The impact you'll have:

The Softchoice Corporate Events Marketing team strives to be the most strategic and inventive event marketing teams in the IT industry. We understand the importance of live in-person and digital experience events in an ever-increasing hybrid world. We create engaging experiences that drive business outcomes through our external event marketing programs. As a group, we enable our Softchoice sales representatives and partners to make an impact by equipping them with opportunities to drive meaningful client interactions. We are looking to add a corporate event-marketing specialist to the team to assist us in furthering our mission in creating world-class events.

Imagine this scenario: You are asked by senior business development leaders to launch an event series promoting a new technology solution to business decision makers across North America. It’s on you to bring focus to the strategic planning, get people to register their attendance (either in person or virtually), and own each event within the series with end-to-end execution from concept to conclusion, and follow through. The upside is huge – no one else in the market is offering anything like this, and, if executed well, the event series will transform how prospects and clients perceive Softchoice’s brand and drive pipeline.
