What will you do?
- Act as the first point of contact for all corporate action inquiries and instructions from internal trading accounts.
- Generate and distribute notifications on voluntary and mandatory Corporate Actions to internal RBC trading desks and support staff.
- Process all corporate action instructions received from internal trading accounts and liabilities received/sent to other broker-dealers.
- Execute a range of department risk mitigation checks on mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions to ensure each is processed correctly.
- Provide oversight and work direction for all 144A to REGS conversions and DWAC's.
- Lead various projects as assigned by management to improve department efficiency or reduce the risk involved in the processing of capital markets Corporate Actions.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have
- Ability to anticipate needs and demands of day to day workflow in a fast-paced pressured work environment with strict time deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with high attention to detail.
- Practical problem solving, analytical and resolution skills.
- Keen attention to detail, with a zero tolerance for clerical errors.
- Two years' experience processing Corporate Actions.
Nice-To-Have
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field.
- Working knowledge of industry regulations surrounding Corporate Actions, settlement and liabilities.
- Experience using advanced Microsoft Office (Excel) techniques
