Position Overview:
Reporting to the VP, Finance, Tim Hortons, Canada the Sr. Manager, Finance will be responsible for consolidation of financial materials relating to the various Tim Hortons P&Ls. This person will work closely with our VP of Finance to craft compelling communications, with the goal of effectively conveying strategic plans to key leaders and stakeholders. The ideal individual should have the ability to interpret key financial information and have a strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts, enabling them to craft insights that support our objectives and decision-making processes. The candidate should be a hands-on team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of material for presentation to Tim Hortons leadership, board, and investors
- Assist with strategic planning for long-term projects and initiatives
- Financial modelling to support strategic planning
- Perform analysis, providing commentary and insights on results
- Assist with various ad hoc projects and support with regular financial routines as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of finance or accounting experience
- High degree of comfort with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems; SAP, Power BI and Hyperion experience an asset
- Strong organizational skills required to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, ability to work cross-functionally
- Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting an asset
