The Account Planner is responsible for supporting all activities associated with managing reporting, analysis and planning for their partners/accounts. He/she will provide analytical support to the Program Manager and Account Managers to maximize sales as well as optimize inventory. The individual will demonstrate business agility and strategic thinking, leveraging internal and external data to make fact-based decisions. He/she will build/maintain effective cross-functional relationships with Merchandising, Sales and Inventory Planning. They will be a key partner in Pre Season, In Season and Post Season activities.

The candidate will report to the Manager of Analytics and Account Planning and be responsible for planning for their respective Program/Accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direction, in pre, in and post season activities, to ensure increased sales and profitability.
  • Develop working relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to optimize financial success and appropriate inventory levels.
  • Monitor sales trends and promotional activities weekly to maintain success within the program
  • Analyze sales at the SKU level to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify opportunities to grow the business.
  • Manage weekly reporting requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and update tools, reports, etc. to support the needs of the business.
  • Partner with Account Managers and Program Managers to ensure right stock, right place, and right quantities
Pre-Season Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive hindsight to the season we would be selling (going into market) for; i.e. SKU productivity, Color, category, WOS analysis etc. per partner within the program
  • Roll up Partner Analysis per program
  • Pull together analytics for Market/Sell in meetings to support recommended buys and product pitch
In-Season Responsibilities:
  • Monthly product performance analysis
  • Participate in partner bi -monthly calls presenting current performance, on hand, and on order product flow
  • Communicate to Lululemon Merchandise Planners and Merchandising, partner performance in bi-monthly product meeting
Post-Season Responsibilities:
  • Hindsight season performance
  • Based on partner performance communicate new trends, category, top and bottom sellers, Sku breadth performance, sizing performance etc. for the whole season.
Requirements
  • 4 - 6 years’ work experience in wholesale category level account planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in retail data analysis and Open to Buy
  • Expert knowledge and capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working in the apparel retail industry.
  • Attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and pivots to react to changing priorities
  • Ability to work autonomously but also cross-functionally with various stakeholders
  • Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results; proficiency in retail math
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Problem Solving & Decision ability: Able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solution

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $79,100 - $103,800annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
