Position Overview:
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a third-year Business Student to gain invaluable real-world experience in managing a team of 20 staff members, while also serving as a company liaison for government programs. As a Summer Business Student, you will have the chance to develop and hone essential business skills while working closely with experienced professionals in a dynamic workplace setting. In addition to managing the team, you will be involved in various tasks such as data entry, scheduling, client management, and more, serving as a vital link between the company and external stakeholders, including government agencies. This position offers hands-on experience in leadership, team management, project coordination, client relations, data management, and business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a company liaison for government programs, maintaining effective communication and relationships with relevant agencies and stakeholders.
- Assist in data entry and management, including the collection, organization, and analysis of data for various business purposes.
- Manage scheduling for internal operations and client appointments, optimizing efficiency and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Handle client management tasks, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
- Collaborate with team members to support overall business objectives and project goals.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation related to government programs, data analysis, scheduling, and client management.
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge related to business operations and government programs.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a third-year business program or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
