Rainbow counsellors love working with children and have a desire to make camp a safe and wonderful space for all children. We hire people who can work as part of a team and who believe that we can achieve greatness by all working together. Rainbow counsellors are fun, able to laugh at themselves, love being outside, are not afraid to act silly, are responsible, love being with children and want to have an unforgettable summer! Rainbow Day Camp prides itself on creating and maintaining a safe, fun and inclusive environment for all campers and counsellors.
Counsellors may need to provide support and personal care to campers who require assistance (changing diapers/feeding). It is a small portion of the position, but it is what makes camp possible for these kiddos.
Camp takes place for 8 weeks in the summer 8:30 pm - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday and one week of training prior to camp.
Applicants must be available June 26th - August 25th 2023, must have graduated Grade 10 by summer 2023.
