Surface Diamond Driller Assistant/Training Provided

*Orbit is currently seeking Surface Diamond Driller assistant for our projects in Sudbury and the WAWA area.

Principal Tasks and Responsibilities

• Install the drill safely with the driller;
• Perform the maintenance of work tools and work surface;
• See to the supply of equipment to be used;
• Insure proper placement of core samples in boxes;
• Manipulate the core sample tubes (place and retrieve);
• Monitor all levels regarding to the drill set up;
• Assist in the displacement of the drill;
• Assist and support the driller for the proper progress of the drilling activities;
• Perform all other tasks necessary for the proper progress of the drilling operations

Profile and Requirements

• willing to train;
• Hold a Surface diamond drilling helper common core certificate;
• Hold a valid Standard First Aid and CPR card;
• Hold a valid driver’s license;
• Clean Criminal Record;
• Good physical capacity and endurance;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Comfortable and motivated in a productivity environment.

Work Schedule: 28-14 and 14-7
