Technical Sales Representative - UAV and Lidar Mapping

As the authorized Canadian supplier of senseFly (AgEagle) Professional mapping drones, GeoSLAM Lidar, GeoCUE Lidar, and Tersus GNSS, CartoCanada continues to pioneer advancements in the geospatial industry.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting existing clients and expanding CartoCanada's diverse product lines. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting and generating new business while supporting a growing user base.
  • Accountability for achieving sales targets and profitability in the Eastern Canada region.
  • Managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to successful deal closure.
  • Reporting to management with detailed sales funnels, forecasts, and strategies using CRM.
  • Effectively communicating and demonstrating the impact of new technology on accuracy, productivity, and margins.
  • Collaborating with CartoCanada technical staff to support suppliers in positioning products and related technologies.
  • Providing prompt and detailed support to clients.
  • Over-delivering on commitments.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Your profile ideally includes:

  • Geomatics/Civil Engineering diploma or 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of Survey Techniques.
  • Familiarity with UAV/Drones/RPAS and aerial sensors (camera, infrared, and Lidar).
  • Experience with surveying equipment (GNSS/Total Stations).
  • Lidar scanning experience.
  • Pilot license (an asset).
  • Valid Driver's license.
