Hybrid Power Solutions is a small startup that is rapidly making its name in portable power. Our battery power packs and various other industrial battery systems are innovative and robust and completely replace the need for fossil fuel-based generators. We engineer and assemble our system right here in Mississauga. We pride ourselves on a fun, energetic atmosphere with innovation, flexibility and efficiency as our core values. This isn’t your typical 9-5 and we aren’t looking for the typical candidate.
Who are we looking for?
Someone who has experience or education in stock management, production management and assembly. An individual who can take responsibility for every aspect of manufacturing from raw material ordering to ship out. Familiar with manufacturing software.
We are looking for a candidate who wants to grow as quickly as we do and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. The role will evolve from day to day assembly to full time management.
Responsibilities:
- Production scheduling and planning
- Stock management
- Assembly time management
- Electrical assembly
Responsibility breakdown:
- 50% assembly & assembly training
- 25% production forecasting, stock management & process improvement
- 15% general management and facility operation
- 10% shop organization & safety
* Note that this role does require manual assembly on a day to day basis as indicated above. This will eventually be only a small portion of the role as we grow. The successful candidate will need to be completely familiar with the assembly process.
Qualifications:
- Degree/diploma in supply chain management or technical degree is an asset
- Experience in electrical wiring and assembly (crimping, cutting, stripping, etc.)
- Experience in production management
- Experience with manufacturing software
Salary is based on experience. Yearly bonus offered and we are currently piloting a small benefits plan. Please indicate desired salary in application.
