JBT Group of Companies is seeking someone with telemarking experience preferable in the transportation industry.
Primary Objective: To generate new customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying potential sales to quickly determine the appropriate amount of time to dedicate to each call
· Generate new leads along with day to day assistance to our sales team
· Cold calling potential customers
- Persuading potential customers to use JBT as a carrier and Heritage Warehousing for warehousing needs using a prepared script with additional information
- Ask pertinent questions to understand the customers’ needs and determining what offerings suit them best
- Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
- Follow up on calls
· Keep records of calls and outcomes
Requirements:
Proven experience as a telemarketer or similar sales role
Interpersonal and communication skills
Computer skills
Time Management skills
Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email etc)
Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints
Desirable:
•Sales experience in transportation is preferred
Preference will be given to candidates that have experience in the transportation industry.
