ZEBALLOS ELEMENTARY SECONDARY SCHOOL

Located on the beautiful West Coast of Vancouver Island, Zeballos Elementary Secondary School enrolls approximately 40students from GradeK-12, with approximately 90% being of Indigenous ancestry. Thededicated team of educators andsupport staff work closely together in this new and well-equipped facility to provide all students with a successful learning experience.
Zeballos Village and School are accessible by logging road, boat or seaplane. The nearest service centers are PortMcNeill (85km,pop 3500) and Campbell River (195 km, pop 30,000). Affordable housing in teacherages is available. Financialsupport and opportunities for development and growth are provided, as well as a moving allowance, isolation allowance and a remote recruitment and retention allowance. Salary will incl ude:
Salary as per collective agreement. Current salary grid is $59,697 - $106,217 per year (prorated for part-time or partial year).
The successful ca ndidate wil l be :
willing and flexible to teach Grades K-2 curriculum full-time, and in an outdoor setting as required;
physically capable to perform the duties of this position.
Education and Experience:
Valid BC Certification with the TRB, with recent teaching experience preferably in a multi-grade classroom.
