Trailer Mechanic - Afternoon, And Evening Shifts

To be eligible for this role, you must hold a valid license as a Trailer or Tractor Technician/Mechanic and possess substantial experience working on tractors and trailers. • Pay Rate: starting  $31 - $38 per hour, based on experience and education. 

• Location: Calgary, AB

• Shifts: Afternoon, and evening shifts

  Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the fleet.

• Diagnose problems found during inspections

• Prescribe the appropriate remedial actions in a timely manner

• Provide exceptional customer service to drivers

• Support and mentor Apprentices throughout their apprenticeship

  Qualifications:

• Valid license as a Trailer or Tractor Technician/Mechanic

• Class 5 Driver's License

• Substantial experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic working on tractors and trailers

• Prior experience and qualification to perform Safeties are mandatory for this position

• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing issues and effective time management

• Exceptional customer service to support drivers

• Basic computer skills for paperless work order entry

• Ability to work independently without supervision

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
