Trash-It Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and dynamic individual to fill the role of Trash-It General Technician. This position requires a professional jack of all trades who will be responsible for both junk removal tasks and push and pull jobs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform junk removal tasks efficiently and effectively, including the loading, hauling, and disposal of various types of waste and debris.
• Execute push and pull jobs with precision and attention to detail, ensuring the safe movement of bins and totes from waste rooms to staging areas
• Operate a variety of equipment and tools, such as trucks, dollies, hand trucks, and power tools, in accordance with safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any concerns or questions they may have regarding the removal or relocation process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on-site and within company vehicles, to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and procedures governing waste management and transportation, including proper disposal methods and recycling practices.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on time and meet project deadlines, demonstrating strong teamwork and cooperation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement, contributing to the ongoing success and growth of the organization.
• Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of waste management and logistics.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or vocational training preferred.
• Prior experience in junk removal, moving services, or related fields is desirable.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, stoop, and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in operating a variety of tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive commercial vehicles is an asset.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and overtime hours as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Stamina to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including bending, kneeling, and standing.
• Comfort working in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating tools and equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
