Job Summary:
As an IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing intermediate-level support for our client's networking, server, and desktop environments. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-oriented mindset. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, managing network and firewall configurations, supporting Microsoft server and desktop environments, and providing direct support to clients both remotely and on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to networking, firewalls, Microsoft servers, and desktop/laptop hardware and software.
- Travel to client sites to provide hands-on support and implement solutions as needed.
- Network cabling work, Access Point and Network Equipment installations
- Manage and support Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft certifications and best practices to enhance support capabilities.
- Provide exceptional phone support, guiding clients through troubleshooting processes and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to share knowledge, improve support processes, and develop best practices for IT management.
- Document all support activities and interactions in the company's ticketing system, ensuring clear communication and record-keeping.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT support, specifically in networking, firewalls, and Microsoft server management.
- Strong technical understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 management and support.
- Microsoft certifications (such as MCSE, MCSA, or Microsoft 365 Certified) are highly regarded.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach to support.
- Ability to travel to client sites as required.
- A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
