SalaryFarm animal practice seeking full time customer care representative/ office administrator for Monday to Friday shifts. Duties include (but not limited to):
- Customer service over the phone, in-person and via email (inquiries, appointment bookings)
- Data entry of medical records and billing into various software programs (Avimark, DHI, Excel)
- Inventory maintenance
- Equipment maintenance (Powerfloat, Shockwave, x-ray, ultrasound, gastroscope, surgical packs)
- Occasional assistance with patient restraint and treatment (horses, cows, pigs, poultry, small ruminants, some large exotics)
- Occasional assistance with surgery of above species
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, bring a positive attitude to the workplace and work as a team player to help bring out the best in other team members. They must also demonstrate leadership, initiative and accountability. Veterinary experience is not required but the successful candidate must have knowledge of farm animals and strong computer skills.
Our practice offers CE, uniform allowance, health benefits and an RRSP program. Salary based on experience.
