Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage and inventory management
- Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to optimize warehouse productivity
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Monitor and maintain warehouse safety protocols and compliance with company policies
- Train and supervise warehouse staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Continuously evaluate warehouse performance and implement improvements as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
