ASA Alloys has become a leading one-stop metals service center that caters to the specific requirements of a diverse customer base. We stock an extensive inventory of Aluminum Alloys, Stainless Steel Alloys, and Specialty Metals.

The Moncton Service center is one of 9 locations.

We currently have a full time opening for Warehouse Manager:

Duties and Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY

* Supervise warehouse personnel, Oversees the day-to-day operations of the shop, i.e., proper handling of material, proper packing of material, ordering of day-to-day production and packaging supplies, ensuring all documents are filled out correctly, shipping and receiving procedures are being followed, along with scheduling truck runs and all other logistic requirements (IFTA/IRP) etc.

This also includes training, motivation, performance appraisals, assistance in wage and salary administration and discipline. Approve personnel decisions made by subordinates affecting inspection personnel.

*Responsible for basic disciplinary actions such as warnings and suspensions.

*Monitors warehouse expenses, implements solutions for cost savings i.e. (no outsourced trucking) finds/sourcing less expensive supplies.

*Work with a Q.A. department to ensure that material meets all specifications including heat numbers, grade, tolerances, mill test reports etc…

*Ensures scheduled and planned maintenance is carried out. This includes all equipment and safety inspections in the warehouse, and trucks.

*Helps with packing orders, loading and unloading of trucks, when/if needed.

*Monitor and Organize stock in the warehouse

*Assist Service Center Manager with his/her duties, when needed/requested.

Requirements/Asset:

- High School Diploma or GED

- Ability to Supervise warehouse personnel, oversee training, motivation, performance appraisals.

-Effective written & verbal communication skills

-Ability to use and read a tape measure

Hours:

- Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Rate of pay: $50,000 to $65,000 Salary negotiable based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
