We are looking for Warehouse operator for our Lloydminster location. Team members will strive to provide a positive customer experience and excellent service to the end user through safe operation and quality work. The Warehouse Operators will accountable for ensuring that their work in an industrial environment is carried out safely and efficiently each day.
Task and Responsibilities:
· Work safely in a fast-paced respectful industrial environment
· Operate a counterbalanced forklift, reach truck, or pallet jack to fulfill order selection requirements
· Receive goods into inventory while noting any discrepancies from documentation to product quantities
· Handle packaging and drum materials to load product for consumers
· Communicate openly with team members to accomplish daily load out requirements
Qualifications:
· Forklift Operator Ticket (Current)
· 2-3 years experience in an industrial environment (Ag Chemical experience will be considered an asset)
· Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team
· Possession of current (within last 2 years) or successful completion of online Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems Training (WHMIS) within 2 weeks of start date.
· Possession of current (within last 2 years) or successful completion of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) training within 2 weeks of hire date.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Requirements for Warehouse Operators:
· Ability to communicate fluently in English (Written and Oral)
· Ability to interpret instructions and accurately fulfill Bill of Lading requirements
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time
· Able to maintain a consistent physical pace throughout the day
· Ability to individually lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 85 pounds with assistance
· Compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time
· Must be able to work flexible work hours depending on load out requirements
Must have a valid drivers license
· Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
