Warehouse Processing Specialist

Job Overview:

As a Warehouse Processing Specialist with our fencing installation and repair contracting company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse activities. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills. The Warehouse Processing Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating deliveries, and supporting the overall efficiency of our fencing projects.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records of fencing materials and related supplies.
• Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering when necessary.

Order Processing:

• Receive and process incoming shipments of fencing materials and equipment.
• Verify the accuracy of received goods and update the inventory system accordingly.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and documentation.

Quality Control:

• Inspect incoming materials for quality and report any defects or issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a high standard of quality control in the warehouse to ensure customer satisfaction.

Documentation:

• Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $22.10-$25.90 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
