The Role
The Wedding & Events Manager will actively seek, nurture client connections, and coordinate sales efforts for both Wedding and catering services. Emphasis will be placed on the Wedding and catering sectors, with the expectation that the incumbent will offer insights and plans for enhancing the guest experience, working closely with our guests to recommend and promote specialty packages and menu options to support our guests’ needs and enhance their event.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients, as well as connections within the community.
- Participate in sales calls, entertainment, FAM tours, & tradeshows.
- Respond to incoming Wedding and catering inquiries.
- Champions the wedding market, providing information on market conditions, competitor updates and trends in the food, wine and décor industries.
- Lead site tours of the resort to potential clients (primarily for potential wedding clients)
- Act as the main point of contact for clients during the planning, menu selection and coordination of the event, and manage the preparation of banquet event orders, group resumes and other critical information.
- Interact with guests on the day of their events to provide operational support and coordination.
- Manage any post event communication and follow-up.

Education and Experience
- University degree in Marketing, Hotel and Resort Management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Hotel Sales, Conference Services, or Corporate Sales, Wedding & Event Management
Some travel will be required for this role.
This position requires evening and weekend availability for scheduled events and weddings.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $52,000.00-$62,000.00 per year
