Essential Functions & Responsibilities

·Support sales to existing customers at the counter conducive to the company’s customer service and sales objectives.

· Respond to incoming calls and customer inquiries and request in an efficient and timely manner and dispatch request to the proper personnel.

· Ad Hoc duties as assigned.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

· Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of sales counter showroom.

· Work with sales department on implementation of periodical counter specials.

· Report non-conforming products to appropriate personnel.

· Provide excellent customer service by meeting and exceeding the customers’ needs and expectations, ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.

· Contribute to team spirit by assisting fellow employees with other tasks related to overall company objectives.

· May be required to press tires when needed

· Technical Research duties, i.e. parts look-up, as required.

· Perform other duties related to other company business, when required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Reports to Inside Warehouse Supervisor with functional direction from the DC Operations Manager.

Knowledge and Skills

· High School diploma

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Related customer service experience is a definite asset.

· Past work experience in automotive or material handling industry is preferred

· Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills are an asset.

Extent of Public Contact

· Continual interaction with staff in all departments and customers.

Physical Demands

· The job requires extensive work at a computer terminal.

· Lifting of less than 50 pounds,

· Requires walking warehouse

Working Conditions and Environment

· Customer locations may encompass exposure to heavy equipment and related conditions

· General office and warehouse environment

· Occasional related duties in warehouse

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
